Casual Connect, the leading series of events promoting startups and technology, will be coming back to Kyiv, Ukraine, next week for the first time since 2013. Bringing together experts from some of the market leaders such as Facebook, Google, Amazon, Ubisoft, Huuuge Games, and many others, Casual Connect Kyiv represents an invaluable opportunity for everyone in the tech and gaming sector to gather insights and share on the experiences of successful business undertakings.
Casinos Taking the Center Stage
Casual Connect Kyiv, taking place from October 24 – 26, will place a special emphasis on the online gambling industry and its social sector in particular. The Casino track of the event will gather many industry experts to discuss general gaming topics as well as those specific to Kyiv and Ukraine.
Adam Krejcik, one of the partners at Eilers & Krejcik Gaming, will set the tone for the track with his presentation on the social gaming industry in Q3 of 2017. His speech will be followed by the likes of Sergej Kochubej of NatGeo Wild Slots and Nik Vladimirov of GSN Games. Mr Vladimirov will focus on the hotbed of talent located in Ukraine and how to best utilize this vast resource.
Within the Casino track, 2017 Casual Connect Kyiv will feature many interesting panels, such as the one focusing on how to get people to pay more in social slots by Guy Hassan of Old Man Productions. Apart from these industry-specific panels and presentations, there are also numerous other lectures focusing on more general aspects, such as increasing the visibility of one’s app in the app store and creating true values within a company.
High Level Networking
Apart from the official part of the event, Casual Connect Kyiv will also offer some great networking opportunities, as is usually the case with these events. There will be two high level networking parties hosted during the event, giving everyone a chance to mingle, create new contacts, and potentially make new, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Finally, those interested will have an opportunity to also attend Indie Prize Awards and Indie Prize Showcase, giving them a chance to see the most innovative, out-of-the-box gaming solutions by independent developers from more than 50 countries around the globe.
